Bachelor of Computer Application Syllabus

BCA is a four years degree that consists of 126 credit hours in total. 1 credit hour is equivalent to 16 lecture hours. Hence, the total hours required to finish BCA is 2016 lecture hours. The total 126 credit hours are distributed among various subjects which are listed below. However, students have to study a total of 96 credit hours of computer-related subjects which includes core courses, electives, and internships.

Program Organization:

The MBS curriculum lasts for two years, divided into four semesters.
Coursework: In addition to core courses and specialized courses, students also need to complete a thesis or seminar papers.
Core courses: These courses encompass topics including accounting, marketing, finance, human resource management, and operations management and offer a foundation in fundamental business and management concepts.

MBS SYLLABUS – TU

Masters of Business Studies is a two years graduate level program in Business and Management. The duration of this course is 24 months four semesters. Total credit hours of study with dissertation is 66 credit hours in a semester wise system of Master of Business Studies program.

Upon graduation, students should be equipped to function as a manager in business, industry and government. The graduate should also have a variety of career opportunities in different sectors of business including entrepreneurship and create much needed jobs for others.

The BBS program specially attempts to:

1. Equip the students with the required conceptual knowledge of business and administration to develop a  general management perspective in them.
2. Develop required attitudes, abilities and practical skill in students, which constitute a foundation for the growth into competent and responsible business managers.
3. Encourage entrepreneurial capabilities in students to make them effective change agents in the Nepalese society.
